Our Story

We are the largest independent washroom services and clinical waste collection and management company in Wales, with over 1,200+ customers throughout the South West and Wales. We have two distinct divisions; Hygiene (Washrooms) & Healthcare (Offensive Hygiene and Infectious / Hazardous Wastes).

We also have the exclusive rights to NappiCycle, a unique and innovative treatment system for the recovery of cellulose and plastics from nappy and incontinence wastes.

Our Team

Emma Hughes

Director

BIOGRAPHY

Emma co-established Natural Hygiene back in 1998 and her dedication to detail and customer service has been instrumental in making our business the largest independent washroom services and clinical waste collection company in Wales. She is responsible for all operational aspects of the workplace and for maintaining and increasing the efficiency of the business.

Mentoring and developing members of our team, finding ways to increase quality of customer service, implementing best practices in our companies operation are always her priorities as well as directing daily logistical operations.

She understands the importance of customer and associated business relations and, in an effort to support the local economy; insists on sourcing local products and suppliers where possible.

Rob Poyer

Director

BIOGRAPHY

Rob has been involved in the waste management industry for most of his career, working in a variety of senior management and project management roles; this included developing and managing three large landfill operations in Wales as regional landfill manager. In 2004, Rob decided to concentrate his efforts as Managing Director and joint shareholder of Natural UK Limited and has since developed a profitable waste collection and environmental management business.

His specialist knowledge on waste management legislation and his expertise in the development and operation of waste treatment and disposal facilities has enabled us to develop our unique waste treatment facility – to recover and re-use the paper fibre and plastics from traditional offensive wastes that would otherwise be disposed of at landfill.

Lewis Poyer

Finance Director

BIOGRAPHY

Lewis started working for Natural UK back in 2017.

Originally joining as a Finance Assistant, he has been able to continuously develop his accountancy skills through balancing his busy work schedules with external training. Lewis is now a fully qualified Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and is working towards becoming a Chartered Accountant within the coming years. Lewis’ attention to detail allows him to effectively oversee the finances of Natural UK & its associated companies.

Scarlett Poyer

Key Account Manager

BIOGRAPHY

Scarlett is our friendly and dedicated Business Development Manager at Natural UK, joining the team in May 2022. Working alongside Phill, she brings a positive energy and collaborative spirit to the team. Scarlett first joined our team as a member of the warehouse staff before transitioning to the service operatives. In May 2023, she moved into our sales team and has since advanced to the role of Business Development Manager.This diverse experience has provided her with invaluable knowledge of our operations. With her exceptional customer service skills, Scarlett builds strong connections with clients and ensures their satisfaction. Her product knowledge and friendly approach make her a go-to resource for customers seeking guidance. Scarlett consistently contributes to the welcoming environment for both colleagues and customers.

Craig Masters

Operations Director (NappiCycle)

BIOGRAPHY

Craig began his career working for Natural UK as a student over 18 years ago. His extensive background includes implementing innovative recycling operations and leading large-scale construction initiatives. With over 15 years of experience in both the private and public sectors within the construction and waste management industries, Craig has proven himself to be a versatile and skilled professional.

Craig holds a degree in Architecture, providing him with a strong foundation in both the technical and managerial aspects of the industry. He is a technically competent professional within the waste industry, with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and sustainable practices. His commitment to continuous improvement and innovation ensures that Natural UK remains at the forefront of the industry, delivering high-quality, sustainable waste management services.

Emily Jenkins

Operations Manager

BIOGRAPHY

Emily is our Operations manager and joined Natural UK in 2019. Emily had been involved in customer services and people-development throughout her career, as well as having gained invaluable insights into the healthcare sector. With most of her time spent within the hospitality sector, it seemed like a perfect fit to come and join us at Natural UK. As Operations Manager, Emily oversees the seamless flow of information between departments and provides administrative and support services for our expanding fleet of collection and delivery vehicles. She handles customer database management, establishes new customer accounts, and efficiently manages existing business through meticulous planning and scheduling.

Charley Taylor

Assistant Operations Manager

BIOGRAPHY

Charley joined the company in October 2023, having spent the last 5 years in various roles at a B2B manufacturing company in Swansea. She has years of experience in customer service, administrative tasks and marketing, Her role at Natural UK is to assist the Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of daily operations, including day-to-day admin tasks, customer service, operations paperwork and scheduling installs and services.

Sharon Jones

Head of Procurement

BIOGRAPHY

Sharon joined Natural UK back in 2016, having previously worked in both hotel and property development; her experience of logistics, accounts and administration making her the perfect candidate for the position.

Sharon had also spent several years as a children’s Nanny, in both the UK and abroad, before settling back in Carmarthenshire.

Angharad Harding

Business Funding Manager

BIOGRAPHY

Angharad joined the team in February 2023 as a funding manager. She has experience in seeking and securing funding from both the public and private sector to enable growth opportunities for the business. Angharad has twenty years’ experience in both project management and business support within the region and is a qualified business advisor.

Rhiannon Chapple

Technical Director

BIOGRAPHY

Rhia has worked in the waste management industry since 2019, having previously worked as an Environmental Consultant involved in environmental permitting for a wide variety of sites. Rhia has extensive experience of working closely with customers and stakeholders, such as Natural Resources Wales. Rhia joined Natural UK early in 2023 and is involved with ensuring that the site maintains its longstanding compliance with the Environmental Permit, as well as working with colleagues on the development and implementation of new and exciting waste management and recycling projects. She is also undertaking health and safety training, including IOSH and NEBOSH courses.

Phill Crocker

Healthcare Account Manager

BIOGRAPHY

Phill has been involved in the Healthcare sector for over 20 years, having worked with some of the largest national companies in the management of both offensive and hazardous infectious clinical wastes.

He has joined us as our regional business manager, bringing the benefit of all of his past experience and customer knowledge. As we look to further expand our areas of operation, Phill will be responsible for developing new customers, account management and customer development.

Morgan Francis

Washroom Account Manager

BIOGRAPHY

Morgan joined Natural UK in January 2025, with over 30 years of experience in the washroom and pest control sectors, He has gained extensive knowledge and insight across various regions and roles, which is highly valuable to the company.

Morgan’s background spans all key areas of the service industry—including business development, operations, marketing, and sales—allowing me to bring a well-rounded perspective and a diverse skill set to Natural UK.

We are confident that his experience and understanding of customer needs will help maintain our existing client base, introduce new ideas, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the company.

Alice Sadd

Finance Assistant

BIOGRAPHY

Alice joined us at Natural UK in October 2023, having previously worked within administration in the healthcare sector; this has given her an understanding of the role we play in supporting our customers’ needs. Alice is qualified in AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting. Alice looks forward to working towards her continuous development, by supplementing her knowledge and understand with gaining further qualifications within the AAT framework at the local college.

Amy Robinson-Jones

Accounts Assistant

BIOGRAPHY

Amy is a member of our finance team and joined Natural UK in 2020, having previously worked within the sporting industry. To supplement and develop her existing qualifications, Amy is currently in the process of gaining her Accounts qualifications at a local college, whilst balancing the demands of a busy working life. Amy deals with customer queries, raises customer invoices and processes and apportions payments we receive. She has an understanding of all aspects of our Accounts department and is always happy to assist in a friendly and professional manner.

Dorota Urbas

Accounts Assistant

BIOGRAPHY

Dorota is a member of our finance team at Natural UK and joined in 2021. Dorota previously worked within various accounting roles, in both the manufacturing & hospitality sector. Her role is to provide additional support for our busy finance team, dealing with administration issues, customer liaison and providing information across all departments. Dorota is qualified member of Association of Accounting Technicians. She is also qualified in purchasing & procurement, together with payroll administration.

Richard Jones

Projects Manager

BIOGRAPHY

Richard is a Chartered waste manager with over 15 years in the waste management industry. He has worked for two of the major waste management companies in the UK, being employed in a variety of commercial and operational roles. Previous to waste management, Richard was involved in various commercial, managerial and technical roles within the Oil exploration sector and Ready Mixed Concrete industry. Recently, Richard has operated as an independent management services expert to the Waste Management sector and has worked closely with a number of SME waste and recycling companies in South Wales. He offers a broad spectrum of technical and commercial development expertise and skills that complement our existing waste management and recycling businesses.
