Our carbon Lifecycle Analysis (LCA) carried out by Giraffe Innovations Ltd, who also conducted an LCA for Defra (UK Gov), found that NappiCycle’s recycling process has a carbon footprint 80% lower than traditional disposal methods like incineration and landfill in Wales.

NappiCycle recycles the equivalent of 40 million nappies a year in Wales, diverting 8,000 tonnes of waste from landfill through low-carbon, circular methods. Despite the UK generating around 1 million tonnes of this waste annually, most is still landfilled or incinerated!
